That’s the culture of any basketball team led by Grant McCasland.
The former scrappy walk-on at Baylor has risen to become the head coach of Texas Tech men’s basketball. But not before leading the University of North Texas to six winning seasons, topped with an NIT championship in March of 2023.
His mantra of “toughest team wins” led UNT to a 31 win season in 2022-23, the best year in Mean Green history.
Now he’ll try to lead Texas Tech back to prominence.
